Two teenagers from Western Sydney who were caught red-handed with almost $5000 cash after selling bags of cocaine at Woolloomooloo have been sentenced for their illegal actions.
Plain-clothed police targeting the rise of illegal drugs in licensed venues on Cowper Wharf Roadway at Woolloomooloo watched on as Raymond Younan, of South Wentworthville and Joseph Moujalli, of Guildford, parked a Ford Ranger in the cab rank in front of glitzy Ovolo Hotel.
A man and woman walked over and began to chat to the two 19-year-olds, before hopping in the back seat before the group drove away.
The agreed police facts state, a short time later, the Ford Ranger parked on the opposite side of the road and as the man and woman left the car the plain-clothed police officers pounced.
The man and woman admitted they had bought two bags of cocaine for $500, which became further evident when Younan exited the passenger seat with $200 cash in his hand, and $300 hanging out of his pants pocket.

The teenagers confessed to selling the cocaine and when asked what else was in the car Younan said, “there might be some money for the casino”, court documents reveal.
Police soon found a wallet which only contained $4400 cash.
Magistrate Carolyn Huntsman warned both men to not put their future careers in jeopardy and to listen to their parents.
Younan was convicted of drug supply, cocaine possession and handling the criminal proceeds of crime and sentenced to a 12-month community corrections order.
Moujalli, who pleaded guilty to drug supply and handling the criminal proceeds of crime, was sentenced to a two-year conditional release order without conviction.
