Rabih Houchar charged after allegedly stalking ex-girlfriend Tara Eslami

A once-prolific TikToker is behind bars on remand after he allegedly continued to bombard his ex-girlfriend with messages when he breached a court order against him.

A former prominent TikTok content creator has landed behind bars on remand for allegedly intimidating his ex-girlfriend in a breach of a domestic-violence apprehended violence order.

Rabih Houchar, of Guildford is in custody after he allegedly contacted ex-girlfriend Tara Eslami, who also goes by the name Tara Eve on social media.

Houchar’s case was mentioned briefly at Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday when the court heard he was serving a sentence when he allegedly committed the fresh offences.

In fact sheets tendered to court, police allege the 27-year-old unemployed man breached the court order when he contacted Ms Eslami several times.

From the end of September until March 13, Houchar and Ms Eslami would allegedly speak on “most days” amounting to more than 1000 messages exchanged over multiple social media platforms.

“The pair would have arguments and the victim would block the accused for days,’’ police allege in fact sheets.

“The accused would constantly call from a no caller ID until the victim answers and the cycle would continue.’’

“Back to this stop messaging bullshit,’’ Houchar allegedly retorted.

“I was working on myself and still messaged you. And spoke to you. You know why cause on my end its (sic) proper love and attachment. With you its (sic) not so easy!! No f--k your gay bullshit. You do this every time you see your psychologist. Soo (sic) did you see the video I sent! Answer for a sec. psychology is over.”

The alleged victim blocked the accused and got a new phone number in an effort to stop contact with Houchar but he allegedly started reaching her via PayID bank transfers to her Commonwealth Bank account linked to her old number.

Houchar allegedly unleashed on Ms Eslami when she asked him to stop messaging her on WhatsApp because she was working on herself.

Over four times in March and April, he allegedly deposited $310 with messages that included “I’ve kept my word and sent money every Saturday hun and Inshallah (God willing) I’ll send more next Sat…’’

On the morning of May 1, Houchar presented himself to Granville Police Station where he

declined to participate in an interview.

He was charged with three counts of contravening a prohibited/restriction in apprehended domestic violence order, knowingly contravening an apprehended violence order for the third time in 28 days and domestic-related stalk/intimidate intending fear of physical harm.

The charges were related to alleged offences between December 1 and April 24.

Houchar was not required to face court via video link on Tuesday and the case was adjourned to June 24.

No pleas have yet been entered.
