Police are searching for a three men involved in two frightening armed robberies in the space of five hours, which saw two female employees forced to the ground, in Sydney’s west.

Investigators are appealing for information after four males, wearing face coverings, entered a service station on Anderson Rd, Smeaton Grange and jumped the counter about 2:30am on March 28.

One of the males threatened a 20-year-old female attendant with a knife and forced her to lie on the floor.

The trio stole cigarettes and cash before fleeing the scene in a black Range Rover.

Later that day about 7am, four males entered a convenience store on Crimea St, Parramatta and forced a 51-year-old female attendant to lay on the ground and stole $2000 worth of cigarettes.

Investigators are appealing for information after a teenager was charged following two alleged armed robberies in Sydney’s southwest – which police believe are linked.

The group fled the scene in a black Range Rover. Neither female workers were injured during the robberies. Police believe both incidents are linked.

A 17-year-old male has been charged in relation to the robberies and remains before the courts.

Strike Force Offerton, comprising officers from Parramatta Police Area Command, was formed to investigate the robberies.

Police have released CCTV footage of three men wearing long pants, hooded jumpers and face coverings who police can assist with the investigation.
