Three teenagers have been arrested after a 17-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed and left with a collapsed lung and wounds inflicted all over his body during in Church St, Parramatta, on Friday August 28.
Police allege the teen was stabbed about 9.45pm after he and a friend were speaking with a group of six other males before an argument with one of them broke out.
The incident escalated and the 17-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed multiple times and rushed to Westmead Hospital.
He was treated for collapsed lung and lacerations to his chest, back, arms, head and face.
He has since been released from hospital.
On Thursday at 7am, detectives and South West Metropolitan Region Operations Group officers searched homes at Merrylands and Carramar.
Three males aged 16, 17 and 18 have been arrested and taken to police stations where they will be charged.
Investigations continue.
