For a team player like Eel Mitch Moses, one of the toughest things about coronavirus isolation is not interacting with his mates daily – and one in particular.

Eels gun Mitch Moses said he is coping with isolation but really misses all his teammates at Parramatta.
The Parramatta Eel has given an insight into his new world far away from the training track and NRL matches he had expected to be playing prior to the outbreak of COVID-19
Moses told Fox League Live this week he and teammates, along with coach Brad Arthur and other support staff – many who have been stood down – are staying in constant contact.
Like other athletes and teams across the country, players are sharing information and conversations on WhatsApp and have been provided with gym gear and strength and conditioning programs to see them through the isolation period.
“We have some WhatsApp groups and Parramatta were pretty generous in letting us take what we needed, in letting us go to training and take whatever gear we needed.
“Our head of strength and conditioning has made up some programs for us as well.
“We are heading in the right direction by keeping each other accountable I guess.”
When quizzed by Fox League Live on who he would hate to be in isolation with, Moses was quick to dob in Blake Fergusson.
“He’s not all there,” Moses laughed.
“Imagine if you were in isolation with him. It would be torture. Too much.”
But when asked who he missed the most Moses identified teammate Clint Gutherson.
“I’m probably missing Gutho. He’s a good laugh. He has a lot of energy at training.
“But it’s probably everyone. We have a good group at Parramatta. A good close group. I miss all of them.”
