Rugby League’s most famous siblings have given an insight into what it is like at the home they are sharing during the coronavirus crisis.
As Australians struggle to adapt to increasingly rigid isolation rules, the Trbojevic brothers have provided a lighthearted peep behind their closed doors.
The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles stars have been playing golf to keep themselves occupied but it appears a race for food is a far more competitive occupation for the pair.
Tom Trbojevic, on the comeback from hamstring and pectoral injuries, said on Fox League
Mornings on Foxtel that if he doesn’t get into the food before Jake does he goes hungry.
The pair have also set up a home gym including a watt bike, assault bike and old weights but are yet to use it, with Jake admitting he had a pizza/pasta combo with ice cream last night.
“I know for myself I’m just doing my best to stay fit,” Tom said.
“We’re not too sure when we’re coming back so the fitter we can stay the better the more ready you can be when you get the call up.”
Tom said everyone was different but he would only need a short pre-season when the coronavirus emergency was over.
“Everyone is a bit different but for me I think two weeks is enough to get you ready,” said Tom, whose golf has been improving during the break from NRL.
