Drugs and cash have been seized after a stolen SUV crashed into a light pole at the corner of Station and Hassall streets at Parramatta.
Police said the 2019-model Prado hit the pole at low speed about 10.15pm on Monday when the driver.
Emergency services were alerted when the driver, a 27-year-old Narara man, was found unconscious and was treated at the scene before being taken to Auburn Hospital for mandatory testing.
When police searched the vehicle, they found drugs and cash, as well as identification and credit cards.
The items were seized for further investigation.
The vehicle had been reported stolen from a home at Mt Pritchard on Thursday January 16.
Inquiries are continuing.
