Oatlands: Samuel Davidson in fresh charges over deaths of four children
The driver accused of killing four children at Oatlands has been hit with fresh charges which allege he consumed a cocktail of drugs before the crash.

The alleged drunk driver accused of killing four children at Oatlands as they went for a walk allegedly had taken cocaine and MDMA before he ploughed into them.
Samuel William Davidson was allegedly three times over the legal limit when he allegedly crashed into the Abdallah siblings Antony, 13, Angelina, 12, and Sienna, 8, and their cousin Veronique Sakr, 11, on February 1.
His Mitsubishi Triton ute mounted the kerb and ploughed into the group at Bettington Rd just before 8pm.
It is alleged he was 45km over the speed limit, had a reading of 0.150 and ran a red light at the Pennant Hills and Bettington Rd intersection.
An 11-year-old boy and two girls, aged 10 and 13, were also injured and underwent treatment at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
The 29 year old’s case was in court today. He did not appear and it was adjourned until June 11.
However, he was slapped with 14 fresh charges – including drug offences.
Following further inquiries including forensic examinations, the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit laid another 14 charges, including four counts of aggravated dangerous driving occasioning death – influence of drug or drugs (MDMA), four counts of aggravated dangerous driving occasioning death – speeding more than 45km/h over limit, aggravated dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm – influence of drug (MDMA), driving a vehicle with illicit drugs in blood (cocaine and MDMA), driving through a red light and not giving particulars to police.
The fresh charges takes Davidson’s total number of charges to 34 after he was originally charged with 20 offences including manslaughter and dangerous driving occasioning death.
