Noel Dona charged with fraud offences at Harris Park real estate agency
A suburban soccer club president allegedly defrauded half a million dollars by transferring funds out of the now-shut western Sydney real estate agency.

Former Trinity Realty agent Noel Dona has been hit with 11 fraud charges alleging he transferred $525,000 from the Harris Park agency into other accounts, including his own.
The former Sydney Kings mascot and Granville Waratah Soccer Football Club president has been charged with 11 counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception.
NSW Fair Trading’s Customer Service Department is prosecuting the case and alleges funds from the now-defunct real estate agency were transferred dishonestly into multiple accounts between October 2017 and April 2018.
Trinity Realty has since closed.
The alleged accounts included the Chief Commissioner of State Revenue, the now-liquidated Dib Corporation, Stacy & Niven Trust A/C, Baldock, Option Development Lands Fund, Tovaform and Urba Herbst.
Between November 2017 and April 2018, court papers allege Mr Dona, 57, dishonestly “caused a financial disadvantage to the owners of a strata plan in the amount of $233,000”.
The North Parramatta man allegedly signed five cheques to himself as well as a Urba Herbst, The Dib Corporation and Tovaform totalling $143,000.
At Parramatta Local Court on Friday, Mr Dona’s lawyer sought an adjournment which was scheduled for February 3.
Mr Dona was not required to appear in court and a formal plea has not yet been entered.
