Easter has come early for Gelato Messina fans.

The popular ice creamery has announced its Easter egg range The Holy Trinity, three different gelato eggs created from some of the best-selling specials.

The trinity includes the Lord Lamington, an egg filled with coconut gelato, raspberry gel, coconut and chocolate dacquoise, milk choc parfait and dipped in red choc glaze and desiccated coconut.

Then there’s the Saint Pistachio, an egg filled with Italian nougat and chocolate honey gelato with a gooey yellow pistachio fudge “yolk” in the middle.

Rounding out the trio is the Holy Hot Cross Buns, a milk chocolate coated egg filled with gelato that has been cooked with hot cross buns and features chunks of toasted and spiced buns. In the centre you’ll find gooey dulce de leche.

The limited edition eggs are available to order now for collection between April 18 and 22 at the Parramatta and Penrith stores as well as Bondi, Darlinghurst, Rosebery, Newtown, Miranda and Tramsheds.

The eggs come in a custom branded box and cost $79 for the set.
