A man was stabbed in the head in a violent incident at a block of units in Sydney’s west.

A man has been stabbed in the head at a block of units at Parramatta on Tuesday night.
Emergency services were called to the Great Western Highway about 11.30pm following reports of a stabbing.
Cumberland police found a 39-year-old man with a wound to his head.
Paramedics treated the injured man before he was taken to Westmead Hospital for further treatment.
Police have established a crime scene and an investigation has started into the incident.
