A man has been arrested at a western Sydney bus station two hours after a woman known to him was found with multiple stab wounds almost 80km away on the Central Coast.

A man has been arrested at a western Sydney bus station two hours after a woman known to him was found with multiple stab wounds almost 80km away on the Central Coast.
The woman, 49, was found suffering from stab wounds after emergency services were called to an address on Bowden Rd, Woy Woy, about 5.15am.
The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to Gosford Hospital and later flown to Royal North Shore Hospital for further treatment.
A crime scene was established at the location and an investigation into the incident commenced before a man was arrested at Parramatta bus station about 7.25am.
The 21-year-old was taken to Parramatta police station where he was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and being armed with intent to commit indictable offence.
He was refused police bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday.
Police said they would allege in court that the pair were known to each other.
