Man charged after allegedly damaging, stealing items from vehicles at Lidcombe
A man who allegedly damaged a series of vehicles and stole from them in Sydney’s west has been hit with multiple charges after two incidents in the past six weeks.

A man who allegedly damaged a series of vehicles and stole from them at Lidcombe has been charged after two incidents in the past six weeks.
In the first incident, a man entered a secure carpark on Flock St on February 24 about 1am and allegedly stole items from several vehicles.
In the second incident, about 1am on Saturday March 1, a man allegedly broke into several vehicles, causing damage and stealing several items from vehicles after he entered a secure carpark on Carter St.
Auburn police began an investigation and on Thursday police arrested a 39-year-old man on Belmore St, Burwood, at 1pm.
He was taken to Burwood Police Station, where he was charged with 28 offences including 10 counts of destroying or damaging property, five counts of larceny, five counts of enter vehicle or boat without consent of owner/ occupier, three counts of dishonestly obtain property by deception, two counts of enter building/land with intent commit indictable offence, two counts of face blackened/disguised with intent commit indictable offence, and threaten to destroy or damage another person’s property.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was refused bail to face Burwood Court on Friday.
He was remanded in custody and is due to front court again on March 13.
