Police and firefighters remain at a Northmead property days after an explosion led to the discovery of a drug manufacturing premises.
Emergency services were called to a house on Beamish Rd following reports of an explosion on Thursday about 5pm.
Police said items consistent with the manufacturing of illicit drugs were inside the house when they arrived.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews – along with specialist police from the Drug and Firearms Squad’s Chemical Operations Team and Parramatta police – established a crime scene.
No charges have yet been laid.
