Guildford: Man wanted over sexual touching incident

A man is wanted over grabbing a woman’s buttocks and chest after he followed her from a train station at western Sydney.

Detectives have released images of the man they believe sexually touched a woman at Guildford in December.

Cumberland Inspector Karl Stone said a 33-year-old woman saw two men board a train at Merrylands at 8.30pm on December 5.

Insp Stone said the woman got off the train at Guildford and was walking when she turned around and saw the two men behind her.

“There was a short conversation and the victim continued to walk then the person of interest (POI) placed his hand on her upper back, lowered it to her buttocks area and squeezed it,’’ he said.

“It didn’t cause pain but it was a firm grip.”

Insp Stone said the victim told the POI to stop but he continued walking with her before he touched her right shoulder, her chest and legs.”

The victim then sought refuge at a relative’s home nearby and the offender ran away.
