A matter involving a woman accused of assaulting a 92-year-old man when he asked her to move her car from his driveway at Greystanes has been adjourned to April 10.

At Fairfield Court today, Kadiga Haouchar’s solicitor Belinda Brzica requested the matter be adjourned to August or September while CCTV footage from the November incident at Bradman St was being evaluated and police were available to provide statements.

She said the footage was difficult to view and “you can’t make out anything” and one of the statements was to come from a police officer who was on leave for 4 ½ months.

However, registrar Fabienne Blancquart refused to wait that long and questioned if the role of the officer was needed for the overall case.

Haouchar, 36, did not appear at court today or on March 6.

It’s alleged she verbally abused the man when he asked her to move her car that was parked across his driveway.

Haouchar was charged in December and given bail.
