A Bella Vista woman fronted Parramatta Local Court today after being charged over her alleged role in an online drug operation that supplied steroids across the state.
Strike Force Bribaree investigators arrested Suzanne Finch, 58, at her Bella Vista home last month following a lengthy investigation that also resulted in the arrest of two men.
Police seized over 5000 vials, 100kg of powder and 100,000 tablets in addition to a firearm, mobile phones and computers.
Finch, who was charged with three offences including supply of a prohibited drug, deal with identification to commit fraud and participate in a criminal group, appeared before Magistrate Peter Featheron Wednesday morning while her lawyer, Shaun Titmarsh, worked to relieve her of strict bail conditions.
Mr Titmarsh said Finch lives in a granny flat on the property of one of her co-accused.
He successfully argued for a bail condition that restricted her from seeing the homeowner be removed.
Police will allege Finch supplied 100 times 10g vials of methandienone — commonly known as steroids.
Police also allege she provided identification information to “commute, facilitate commission of an indictable offence” when she provided information to an Australia Post office in Burwood on June 18.
Police allege the online drug syndicate, which used a website hosted overseas, provided prescription drugs to steroid users through the post.
