But which burger is the most packed, the most juicy and the very best in Ryde and Macquarie Park.

Down N Out, Ryde

Locals were over the moon when Down N Out opened a permanent site at Top Ryde Shopping Centre. The American-style burger joint is beloved for its epic specials and burger hacks.

Boston Republic, Eastwood

If you’re the type who wants to eat a burger for every meal, this Eastwood cafe is where you want to be. From the fried egg and bacon brekkie burger to the tortilla burger for lunch, Boston Republic has you covered.

Cav and Co, Gladesville

Cav and Co’s burger list is simple but well loved: a classic beef, a fried chicken burger, and a sticky pulled pork bun. Little ones haven’t been forgotten either — they can chow down on a mini cheeseburger and chips.

Cafe Boardroom, Macquarie Park

Cafe Boardroom is the home of burger yum cha events — they take their love of burgers seriously. Their specials are always creative and always epic, from the time they did fried chicken burger topped with mi goreng noodles to their pancake cheeseburger.

The Bayview, Gladesville

The hotel’s “Burgerville” menu includes the namesake cheeseburger with beef, pulled brisket, triple cheese, pickles, mustard and barbecue sauce, served with chilli fries. Need we say more? Head there on a Tuesday and you’ll score yourself a free tap beer or house wine with your burger.

The Missing Piece, North Ryde

Sometimes good things come in small packages and a shining example is The Missing Piece’s sliders. Nestled inside Macquarie Centre, the cafe serves up their Hashtag Sliders with slow cooked lamb, jalapeño mayonnaise and rocket — and the best part is you can order it for breakfast or lunch.

The Epping Hotel, Epping

The Epping Hotel has six burgers to try, from cajun chicken to slow cooked pork belly and roast lamb. Plus on Mondays you can order a burger and beer for under $20 — what better way to start the working week.
