Eastwood take on Sydney University in the Shute Shield semi-finals

Eastwood’s quest for a Shute Shield three-peat continues this afternoon as they take on the minor premiers Sydney University at Sydney Uni Oval.

Eastwood’s quest for a Shute Shield three-peat continues this afternoon as they take on the minor premiers Sydney University at Sydney Uni Oval in Qualifying Final A.

The Woods scraped into the semi-finals on the back of three straight wins to close out the regular season.

Although Eastwood were last-start winners against Sydney Uni, the Students finished on top of the ladder for a reason; dropping only four games all year.

With both teams showing good form at the pointy end of the year, there is no doubt that this match is shaping up to be a cracker.

Eastwood’s first grade booking a semi-final berth capped off a terrific regular season for the club with every grade reaching the post season.

Kick-off for first grade is scheduled for 3pm.
