The new mega Bunnings in Gladesville will be a “direct investment” in the local community with the creation of 140 new jobs, Bunnings manager Mark Ommundson says.
Bunnings Complex Manager Mark Ommundson, who has been with the company for 18 years, said the new store will create at least 140 new jobs.
“We’re excited to bring a wide range of outdoor living and home improvement products to the Gladesville community, backed by great service from our team,” Mr Ommundson told The Northern District Times.
The $115 million store, which is set to open in September, will span over 18,000 square meters on the corner of Victoria Road and Frank Street.
Over two retail levels, Bunnings Gladesville will feature the normal suspects including an extensive nursery, timber trade sales area and landscape supplies yard as well as a cafe and indoor playground for the kids.
For those needing home renovation inspiration, the store will also feature a dream kitchen design centre, a huge artificial plant range and storage display ideas to maximise your garage space.
It will also include 470 car park spaces.
“The Gladesville store will provide greater convenience and another option for residents located in the immediate surrounding suburbs and the team and I are looking forward to welcoming the local community through our doors when we open,” Mr Ommundson says.
