Epping tower plan revealed for Beecroft Road

A massive $86m development featuring 126 units, an eat street, rooftop swimming pool and retail outlets could soon be coming to Epping.

A massive $86 million tower development featuring 126 units, restaurants and rooftop swimming pool could soon be coming to Epping.

Lyon Group Australia has lodged plans for the development, part 20 and part 22 storeys, near Epping Railway Station.

Plans including retail outlets and offices on the lower levels, topped with 15 levels of apartments at 59-77 Beecroft Rd and 72 Rawson St.

Level two and three will include office space for commercial tenants while levels 4-18 will be filled with 126 residential apartments.

A rooftop pool terrace and open landscaped spaces will feature on top of the two podiums.

The development will include retail and commercial opportunities

The ground and lower ground levels will also comprise of 958 sqm for retail outlets and some commercial space.

“The ground floor plane provides for an extension of the public domain in a highly landscaped manner and will be highly beneficial as this part of Epping continues to realise its potential as a higher order mixed use centre,” according to the developer’s plans.

Plans state the project would also provide several jobs as well as plenty of retail and commercial opportunities.

It will consist of 126 apartments

A five-level basement carpark has also been proposed.

The application will be determined by the Sydney Central City Planning Panel.
