Coronavirus: changes to services in Hunters Hill area

Hunters Hill Council has introduced some changes to limit the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the health and safety of the community.
Community bookings
All seasonal bookings at Council’s indoor venues have been cancelled. Venues include Town Hall, Fairland Hall, Weil Park Scout Hall, Henley Community centre and Gladesville Road Community centre.
Council will not be charging fees during this period.
Library services
New temporary hours are 10am-4pm Monday-Friday. The following streamlined services will continue to operate:
- Borrowing and returning of up to 70 items (6 weeks and 3 renewals)
- Limited access to PC and printing services (15 minutes limit)
- online and eCollections
- After hours return chutes are also available for your convenience
Self-isolating residents
Residents of Hunters Hill who are self-isolating and do not have support are urged to contact Council at customerservice@huntershill.nsw.gov.au or 9879 9400 for assistance.
Council meetings
This week’s council meeting was cancelled in response to COVID-19 on the advice of NSW Health and with the support of councillors. “In the interest of public health, we have made the decisions to move the items from Monday’s cancelled meeting to the following ordinary meeting of council,” Cr Mark Bennett said. The next meeting will be held on April 27.
