KOI’s co-founder Reynold Poernomo said the workshop was a collaboration between his mum, Ike Malada, and Polyviou.

“My mum and her have been friends for a really long time,” he said.

The class is part of KOI’s Christmas workshop series, which also offers workshops by Malada in making a Santa Hat Cake, Christmas Log or Christmas Trifle.

Young bakers can learn to make a Christmas-themed chocolate block or snowman and reindeer truffles.
