Premier Mike Baird has urged Sea Eagles fans to come out in their droves on Friday night and “Fill The Hill” at Brookvale Oval.
A long-term maroon-and-white tragic, this will be the first home game the Manly MP has attended since he was elevated to the state’s top job following the resignation of Barry O’Farrell in April.
“It’s always a memorable experience coming down to cheer on the Sea Eagles at Brookie (Brookvale Oval),” Mr Baird said.
“Hopefully we get as many supporters there as possible, in what I’m sure will be a very tough, but entertaining encounter against the high-flying Bulldogs.”
Sea Eagles general manager David Perry welcomed the Premier’s attendance and echoed his call for supporters to come down and cheer on their heroes.
“We witnessed a thrilling match at Brookie this time last year and I see this as being another one that’s not to be missed.” Mr Perry said.
“There’s no better experience than a full house at Brookvale Oval, so I encourage all our proud members and fans to pack out the stands, fill the hill and cheer the team on.”
