WITH the holidays rapidly approaching little Ezel Memis was perhaps hoping to discover some chocolate Easter eggs hidden under the friendly chicks of Calmsley Hill City Farm.
NEWBORN ANIMALS WELCOMED TO CALMSLEY HILL CITY FARM
The nine-month-old and mum Havva were treated to an early preview of the hands-on approach of the Abbotsbury-based farm over the holiday period.
General manager Noah Moseley said chicks were being hatched at the farm during the school vacation and would be available for patting at 10.30am and 3pm daily.

“Kids can walk right up and pat the animals in the nursery including the bunnies, the lamb and kid goats,” he said.
The farm also has daily shows featuring working dogs and sheep shearing.
Family tickets cost $75 for two adults and three children, while tots under three are free.
Calmsley Hill City Farm is at 31 Darling St, Abbotsbury, and open daily from 9am-4.30pm, except for Good Friday.
