Two men face court charged with cultivating cannabis at Chatswood homes
Police have arrested two men after $2.1 million worth of marijuana was allegedly found growing inside two homes on Sydney’s north shore.

Two men have been denied bail after police allegedly discovered $2.1 million worth of marijuana growing inside two homes at Chatswood.
Manh Tung Pham, 36, and Iven Chun Soong, 23, appeared in Hornsby Local Court on Thursday accused of cultivating commercial quantities of prohibited drugs and stealing electricity.
The men were charged after police searched homes on Greville St and Fullers Rd in Chatswood just after 7pm on Wednesday.
Police said Mr Pham was arrested at the home on Greville St after attempting to flee the property on foot.
In a search of the home, police said officers allegedly discovered 436 cannabis plants worth $1.5 million growing inside seven rooms.
Hydroponic equipment and 40kg of cannabis leaf valued at approximately $250,000 was also allegedly seized from the home.
Shortly after, Mr Soong was arrested at the Fullers Rd home after officers allegedly found 159 cannabis plants worth $630,000 growing in six rooms at the property.
Police said Mr Soong was found “hiding in the roof” before his arrest.
Mr Pham was charged with large commercial cultivation and stealing electricity. Mr Soong was charged with commercial cultivation and stealing electricity.
Both men were refused bail at a hearing in Hornsby Local Court on Thursday.
