Police are looking into two separate incidents where women with children were followed by men on the lower north shore

The first incident occurred at St Leonards Park in North Sydney.

The woman followed was a 31-year-old with her son about 9am on Friday.

She noticed a man sitting alone and started to feel uncomfortable when he began to stare.

It is alleged the man then followed her along Miller St and CCTV footage from the area shows him running to catch up with her.

The man is described as aged in his 20s, with a lean build and Indian appearance.

The woman involved was a 46-year-old, who was on Brady St with her daughter, 9.

It is alleged she noticed a man walking past at about 7.20pm, who walked behind them to a nearby pub and stopped outside.

The man then walked past the duo at the St. George bank on Military Rd at 8.30pm a second time, who were in the area for about an hour.

The man is described as having an ethnic appearance, brown hair, medium height and medium build.

Anyone with information about either incident should contact police.
