A Mid-North Coast woman is facing several charges including refusing to provide the necessities of life.
The woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is facing three charges before a hearing in Taree Local Court.
These include not provide for child cause danger of serious injury (domestic violence), refuse to provide necessities of life endanger life (domestic violence) and neglect child or young person in his/her care.
The hearing continued in Taree Local Court on Monday, January 23, before Magistrate Allison Hawkins.
The 29-year-old was supported by several family members in court.
She sat quietly wearing black pants and a jacket with her long black hair out.
The court was closed as one young man gave his evidence on Monday.
The hearing continues on Tuesday, January 24.
