In a shocking string of unrelated incidents, another Port Macquarie servo has been held up, mere days after the Ampol Foodary was robbed.
Just two blocks down from there, the Mobil - on the corner of Munster and Gordon streets - was hit where a man allegedly threatened staff and demanded cash.
The incident is alleged to have occurred on September 21 at 3.20am - the exact same time as the Lord St robbery on Sunday morning - while the man arrested in relation to the earlier alleged offence was locked behind bars awaiting his bail decision.
Local police were also investigating a residential break-and-enter that took place on Church St, where an e-bike was stolen.
About 10am yesterday detectives, assisted by the dog unit, executed a search warrant at a unit in Hill St in relation to the alleged recent offences.
Officers located and seized an e-bike, clothing, a backpack and a quantity of drugs, all of which will be forensically examined.
Just hours after the search raid, police arrested 23-year-old Raymond Fritz in Port Macquarie.
He was charged with police pursuit (not stop - drive at speed), never licensed person drive vehicle on road, break and enter house (steal value
He was refused bail by police and faced court today where he was formally denied bail.
The court also determined Fritz breached existing bail conditions, and revoked the bail agreement imposed on him in May earlier this year.
