Baseballer Zac Newbold has been turning heads from a very young age.
The Peninsula talent has previously represented Australia in junior tournaments from the under 12s and has contested the Cal Ripken World Series in the US.
He’s also caught the eye of scouts from the US and is keen to purse a career there one day.
But for now the 15-year-old who attends Mater Maria College at Warriewood is content to stay in Australia while on improving his strength and skills.

Newbold recently played for the NSW Under 16s side at the Australian baseball championship in Victoria and was awarded the MVP for his age group.
Now playing for Manly Baseball in the state league and also with Petersham in an upcoming Sydney winter league, his future goal is to secure a division one scholarship with a college in the US.
“A pro contract would be really good but I’m thinking I’d like to get a Division One scholarship,” he said.
“California area would be good, somewhere it is warm. Hawaii would be cool.”
The busy teenager from Newport plays for Manly Baseball, touch football with the Renegades and under 16s rugby for the Warringah Rats.
