A man was wounded when he was allegedly robbed by two men — one with a knife — on a Monday afternoon at Forestville, Manly Court was told.

Two men who allegedly held up a another man with a knife in a daylight robbery on the northern beaches appeared in Manly Local Court on Thursday.
Shane Carland, 18, and 20-year-old Tyson Madureira, faced a string of charges over the alleged violent theft at Forestville.
The alleged victim was injured in the incident.
Mr Carland, who is originally from the northern beaches, but now lives at Punchbowl, was charged with one count each of robbery in company causing wounding; armed with intent to commit an indictable offence; reckless wounding in company and; affray.
Mr Madureira, from Liverpool, is facing one count each of robbery in company causing wounding; assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of other and; affray.
The court heard that the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions will prosecute the cases due to the seriousness of the alleged offences.
According to documents tendered to court, between 2.20pm and 2.40pm on May 18, at Forestville, Mr Carland allegedly stole a 20cm x 20cm resealable plastic bag and “did wound the victim” in company with Mr Madureira.
The document said Mr Carland was armed with a knife, which had an 8cm blade to commit larceny and that he “recklessly wounded” the man in company with his co-accused and that Mr Carland “did commit unlawful violence towards the victim”.
No pleas have been entered and both men, who are in custody, did not apply for bail.
Magistrate Michelle Goodwin ordered that both men appear at Central Local Court, in Sydney, on October 29, for charge certification.
In a separate matter, Mr Carland pleaded guilty to stealing a Subaru Forester, from Lyly Ave at Allambie Heights some time over the weekend of April 4-5. He also pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while never having a licence.
In a facts sheet tendered to court, police said they found the stolen car at Punchbowl on April 6. It was parked in the same street where Mr Carland lives.
He was charged after his DNA was found on the steering wheel. He will be sentenced for these matters in Manly Local Court on October 1.
