Roadworks to force Wakehurst Parkway closure from Friday to Monday
As part of roadworks for the new Northern Beaches Hospital, a section of Wakehurst Parkway will be temporarily closed from today.

As part of roadworks for the new Northern Beaches Hospital a section of Wakehurst Parkway will be temporarily closed from today.
From 8pm tonight until 5am on Monday, all southbound traffic lanes will be temporarily closed between Frenchs Forest Rd and Warringah Rd to allow for drainage and roadworks.
During this time all northbound lanes will remain open to traffic.
Bus route 169 heading south will be diverted over the weekend and will not stop at the bus stop on Wakehurst Pky after Frenchs Forest Rd.
Bus users are being advised to catch services from Frenchs Forest Rd after Skyline Pl, or from Wakehurst Pky after Warringah Rd.
The Roads and Maritime Services said these traffic changes are needed to upgrade the road and to ensure the safety of workers, motorists, cyclists and pedestrians and may affect travel times.
Motorists are being advised to keep to speed limits and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs.
