A man allegedly found with ‘intimate’ images on his phone has been charged with filming people, without their permission, while they used public toilets at a popular Sydney sports reserve.

A man has been charged with allegedly filming people on his mobile phone, without their permission, while they used public toilet cubicles on the northern beaches.
The 55-year-old was arrested near an amenities block on Abbott Rd, North Curl Curl after “intimate” images were allegedly found on his mobile.
He had been reported to police by a member of the public after he was seen allegedly filming another man using a cubicle in a toilet block close to the John Fisher Park netball courts and soccer fields.
Northern Beaches Police officers stopped the man at the toilet block on Friday and spoke to him about the filming allegation.
Police then searched the man’s phone and allegedly discovered a number of images.
A police spokesman said the phone allegedly contained “intimate images of people inside cubicles”.
The man was then arrested and taken to Manly police station.
He was charged with observing a person in private act without consent, filming a person in private act without consent and behaving in an offensive manner.
The man was granted conditional bail by police and given a notice to appear at Manly Local Court on May 21.
