Mona Vale Beach: Search for missing man, Amir Etemadi, 28, after clothes found on sand
A search for a man who was reported missing, and his clothing found on a Sydney beach, has resumed. Here’s the latest.

A search has resumed for a man who has gone missing after visiting Mona Vale Beach.
Clothing and other property, believed to belong to Amir Etemadi, was found on the sand early on Wednesday morning.
The 28-year-old North Shore man was last seen at the beach at 11am on Tuesday.
But when he could not be contacted, or located later in the day, police were notified and began making inquiries into his possible whereabouts.
At 6am on Wednesday, a member of the public found clothing, and other property, believed to belong to Mr Etemadi, on the beach.
Police then began a search involving several Water Police vessels off Mona Vale and Bungan beaches.
The Surf Life Saving rescue helicopter and Surf Life Saving volunteers in rubber duckies were also involved in the search along with a vessel from Marine Rescue NSW.
A geo-targeted SMS message about Amir Etemadi has been sent by NSW Police to residents in the Mona Vale area about 2pm on Wednesday.
Mr Etemadi is described as being of Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern appearance, about 175cm tall, of thin build, with short brown hair and wears glasses.
He was last seen wearing a brown long sleeve shirt, a light blue vest, and black pants.
Mr Etemadi is known visit the areas around Pymble and the northern beaches areas.
The search resumed Thursday morning.
