GOURMET doughnuts are coming to Manly and revellers will be able to indulge in them late into the night.
Doughnut Time will unveil its kiosk on The Corso on Saturday morning and will hand out its creations for free between 10am and noon.
The company is expecting hundreds of people to turn up and sweet-toothed fans can indulge seven days a week as late as 1am.
Doughnut Time founder Damian Griffiths said he wanted to open in Manly because it was an “iconic place”.
A beach-themed doughnut had been created to celebrate the new retro-style store. Blue Crush comes complete with a chocolate surfboard and beach ball.
Mr Griffiths, a Brisbane lawyer-turned-restaurateur, launched the brand after seeing a similar store in Chicago. He already owned a commercial bakery and set about creating hole-in-the-wall-style outlets.
He now has 26 across Australia and plans to go global.
“The whole idea is we pop up in these hole-in-the-wall spaces,” he said. “We are like a ‘micro’ retailer.
“We like areas where there’s nightlife – we fall into the ‘dessert’ category.
“They are all handmade at our factory in Chippendale and we put a lot of attention into making them.”
The company even handed out the sweet treats at celeb-fave California festival, Coachella.
The $6 doughnuts include vegan versions and have creative names such as The Bling Ring, Veruca Salt, The Emma Stone, All About The Glaze, Sia Later, Love At First Bite and Slim Shady.
And if you can’t make it to the store, you can get them delivered via Uber Eats.
