A man has died after being struck by a car on the Hume Motorway in Sydney’s southwest on Sunday.
Emergency services attended the crash site on the M5 in Woodbine at 7.20am Sunday, with paramedics treating the pedestrian, who later died at the scene.
A 48-year-old woman driving the vehicle was uninjured in the crash, but was taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing after the incident.
The victim of the crash has not yet been identified by police, who are requesting for anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers or Campbelltown Police.
Campbelltown police have established a crime scene as an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident continues.
A report will be prepared by the coroner.
