Wollondilly Council has appointed Ben Taylor as the new chief executive officer

Wollondilly councillors have appointed Ben Taylor as its new chief executive officer.

He will begin in his new role in three weeks time, on September 23.

Wollondilly Mayor Matthew Deeth welcomed the appointment.

”Ben Taylor comes with a wealth of experience and expertise leading an organisation of the size and complexity of Wollondilly Council,” he said.

“He’s had experience at both local government and state government levels and has a passion for delivering high quality outcomes for the community through innovation and continuous improvement.

“He will be well placed to lead the organisation into the future, as Wollondilly embraces the challenges and opportunities of the growing population.”

In a Wollondilly Council press release, Mr Taylor said he was very pleased to be joining

Wollondilly Council and looking forward to getting to know the community.
