POLICE PURSUIT

A Narellan Vale man, 35, will face Picton Local Court next Tuesday after being charged with leading police on a pursuit while under the influence of alcohol.

About 11.30pm on Tuesday police tried to stop a Land Cruiser for a random breath test at the intersection of Holdsworth and Waterworth drives, Mt Annan, however, the vehicle failed to stop.

Police pursued the vehicle along Waterworth Drive into Narellan Vale, using the police siren, high beams and the car horn in an attempt to stop the vehicle.

The Land Cruiser allegedly mounted a roundabout and was travelling at 60km/h in a 50km/h zone.

The vehicle stopped in Throsby Drive, Narellan Vale and the driver was arrested for failing to stop.

The man was taken to Narellan police station and tested positive to being under the influence of alcohol.

RUGBY LEAGUE HEARTBREAK

Police are seeking assistance in relation to a break and enter of Campbelltown City Kangaroos rugby league clubhouse, at Fullwood Reserve, Claymore, between February 21 and 26.

The offender or offenders stole a large quantity of training gear, canteen supplies, clothing and other items, and caused extensive damage to the property.

MOTORCYCLE ALLEGEDLY TRAVELLING AT 195KM/H

A man has been charged after he was detected allegedly travelling more than 115km/h over the speed limit on Camden Valley Way last Monday.

About 10.15am Traffic and Highway Patrol detected a motorcycle allegedly travelling at speeds of up to 195km/h in a 80km/h zone near Catherine Field.

The 29-year-old man was charged with speeding in a dangerous manner.

He is due to appear at Picton Local Court on March 12.

A judge has heard a Minto man, who evaded police for almost a year, was “mostly” running from outlaw bikies whose drugs he had failed to protect.

Daniel Comer, 33, appeared at a part-heard sentencing at Campbelltown District Court on Wednesday.

He had previously pleaded guilty to 21 offences including commercial drug supply, firearm offences and resisting arrest.

In July 2016 more than 1kg of methamphetamine, 2.6kg of cannabis, 330g of MDMA, 14g of cocaine, 110g of MDA and 30 Viagra tabs were seized from a Minto industrial site.

Mr Comer had told police he was operating a vending machine business from the location. The matter is due to return for sentencing at the Downing Centre on May 17.

Toni Millevoi, a 48-year-old beauty salon owner, will remain in custody after being charged with 15 offences, including the commercial supply of illegal drug.

Ms Millevoi was allegedly supplying a commercial quantity of a drug described as “coma in a bottle” found in fake eyelash glue remover bottles.

Police seized almost 1500 15mL bottles of fake eyelash glue remover, believed to be GBL, during a search warrant on a house and granny flat in Arcadian Hills estate on Wednesday.

GBL is a derivative of GHB.

She is due to return to Picton Court on April 9.
