Tim Elturk voted best personal trainer by Macarthur Chronicle readers

The best personal trainer in the region – as voted by Macarthur Chronicle readers – has been revealed. The Campbelltown business owner says he loves helping people achieve their goals.

A Campbelltown business owner has been voted as the best personal trainer in the region by Macarthur Chronicle readers.

The Covid pandemic forced the closure of multiple businesses, including the gym that Tim Elturk was working at.

He and another trainer, Jonny Lobos, had already started to build a little community based around fitness but they had another important goal in mind - helping the locals.

“We started a class called Wolf60 and then we built a brand called Wolflife,” Mr Elturk said.

“We did fitness classes but we also ran charity events to raise money for local causes.

“We would try not to send it to companies but more so local people in need. We helped a little girl’s family when she was diagnosed with cancer with expenses.”

When they needed to figure out what their next steps were, Mr Elturk and Mr Lobos decided to create a physical space for the community they had built.

“That was the Wolfden which we opened at the end of 2020, a place where we could expand this community and share our message on a more widespread level,” Mr Elturk said.

“Our Wolfden consists of group fitness training, personal training and Brazilian jiu jitsu.

“I am also a clinical exercise physiologist with my side business Elite Recovery Solutions starting up.”

Mr Elturk said he is passionate about helping people whether they need rehabilitation or that extra push to reach their health goals.

“I had first started studying architecture, but then I realised I wanted to have an impact on a more personal level,” Mr Elturk said.

“Helping people to help themselves is one of the most rewarding things you can do.”

Mr Elturk said while he does not do the work for recognition, it was heartwarming and exciting to be voted as the best personal trainer in the region.
