Police prosecutor Leonard Kerr told the court Sheehan, who is in the process of converting his garage into a barber studio, called the alleged victim only 30 minutes after he was formally refused bail at Narellan Police station on Monday night.

“(He said) words to the effect that she has ‘dobbed’ on him so to speak,” Mr Kerr said.

Mr Kerr said granting bail to Sheehan posed an unacceptable risk to the female victim and the community, airing concerns he could commit a similar offence.
