Syndicate Nightclub: Two-storey venue proposed for Campbelltown’s CBD
A two-storey nightclub in the heart of a western Sydney CBD is on the cards, with a hopeful operator wanting to revitalise the area’s nightlife.

A two-storey nightclub in the heart of Campbelltown is on the cards, with a hopeful operator promising a bustling nightspot for up to 500 people to “dance their socks off”.
To be known as Syndicate Nightclub, the venue would follow in the footsteps of former Campbelltown nightspots such as Club 209.
“(The venue) was spacious, in the heart of the city centre, and it was something that is missing in Campbelltown – a place that can bring people together to have fun,” a Syndicate Nightclub spokesman said.
“The residents of Campbelltown and the ever-growing southwest Sydney deserve a place of entertainment that is located close to home. Travelling to the city isn’t fun.”
A range of music genres would feature at the venue across the different nights of the week, including a mix of bands, DJs and singers.
The proposed nightclub is expected to open between 8pm to 4am from Thursday to Sunday, but has requested permission to operate seven days a week.
A Syndicate Nightclub spokesman said the proposed venue would plug a gap in the city’s night economy.
“During the day Queen Street is full of life, however, when all the businesses close at 5pm, the people have nowhere in the CBD to go and we want to change that,” he said.
“The venue aims to cater all people – people who want have a relaxing conversation with friends can in our lounge area, people who want to dance their socks off and people who just want to stay locally to have fun in a safe and vibrant place.”
Documents for the nightclub was lodged with Campbelltown Council last month, with the operator hopeful of launching in the next six months, pending approval.
