CAMDEN police are seeking the driver of a white Western Star truck which ran a red light, crashed into a Kia 4WD and rammed it into the rear of a Hyundai on Picton Rd, near the Hume Highway off ramp, and failed to stop about 8.15am yesterday.
Police said the Kia was stopped at the red traffic lights when the truck approached the intersection and failed to stop.
“The truck scrapped along the passenger side of the Kia ramming into the rear of the Hyundai,’’ police said on Facebook.
Police said the rear driver’s side of the Hyundai was crushed and the car was pushed into the guard rail.
“The truck continued through the intersection before accelerating away, allegedly not attempting to stop to render aid to any person,’’ police said.
Officers are urging drivers who were in the area and who have a dashcam to view the footage and if they have any relevant images or information to contact police.
The Hyundai driver was hospitalised while the Kia driver was badly shaken.
The white truck also had a quad dog trailer with alloy buckets and a torn tarp on top.
Anyone with information is urged to phone Camden police on 4632 4499.
