Mr Fuller began NEPEAN Engineering in 1974, growing the business into Australia’s largest privately owned engineering, mining service and industrial manufacturer as well as an international powerhouse

The father of three and grandfather of eight is survived by Lyndall, his wife of 48 years.

Mr Fuller was memorialised by eldest son Miles who praised his father’s personal and business achievements.

“David achieved so much in one lifetime. He impacted many people’s lives, professionally and personally,” Mr Fuller said.

“He was an incredible businessman, a remarkable Australian, and loving father.

“He started NEPEAN 45 years ago as a small toolmaking business, and as a result of his incredible entrepreneurship and leadership he created Australia’s leading privately owned engineering, mining services, and industrial manufacturing organisation.”
