Man charged with grooming child appears at Picton court
A 27-year-old man accused of offering cash to perform sexual acts on who he believed was a 14-year-old boy has appeared at Picton Local Court today.

A 27-year-old man accused of offering cash to perform sexual acts on who he believed was a 14-year-old boy has appeared at Picton Local Court today.
Luke Cavallaro, from Pleasure Point, was arrested at a Spring Farm business last month and charged over the alleged grooming of a child between September 28 and December 27 last year.
Cavallaro, dressed in a blue checked collared shirt, stood at the back of Picton Courthouse when his matter was heard in front of Magistrate Ian Cheetham.
The man, employed as a consultant for a transport company, appeared emotional when speaking to his lawyer and supporters outside the courthouse.

Police allege the Pleasure Point man engaged in sexually explicit conversations with the fictitious 14-year-old boy and offered money to perform sexual acts on him.
He was arrested by detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad’s Child Exploitation Internet Unit on March 28.
A search warrant was executed on a Pleasure Point address on the day of arrest, where investigators seized an iPad, laptops, mobile phones, USB drives and external hard drives.
Cavallaro, who lives with his parents and adult sister, had his strict bail conditions continued by Magistrate Ian Cheetham.
The conditions include no social media access, no internet connection at any address he normally resides in and reporting to Liverpool police station three times a week.
His passport has also been surrendered.
The matter is due to return to court on June 11.
