A 28-year-old man has handed himself into police after an alleged stabbing incident in broad daylight at a Sydney south west sports stadium.

A 28-year-old man has been charged after attending a police station following an alleged stabbing at a sports stadium in Sydney’s south west over the weekend.
Emergency services responded to reports of a stabbing around midday Saturday June 15, at Campbelltown Sports stadium in Leumeah.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a man in his 20s at the scene for stab wounds to his stomach and back, before transporting him to Liverpool hospital in a stable condition.
Police have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The 28-year-old man attended Campbelltown police station at 8am on Wednesday, and was charged with reckless grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court on Thursday.
