Two sisters will fight accusations levelled against them over their alleged involvement in a southwest Sydney home invasion earlier this year.

Prosecutors allege that on February 7, a home on Onslow Ave in Camden was broken into and two residents were assaulted.

Lara Buttriss and Grace Therese Buttriss, and a third co-accused Matthew Bilotta were all charged with aggravated break and enter to commit a serious indictable offence in company and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in the company of others.

However, those charges were withdrawn and new ones were laid.

At Campbelltown District Court on Thursday, she pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Her sister Lara has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm relating to two people inside the home at the time.

She also pleaded not guilty to the two charges levelled against her.

The trial is expected to take at least five days, and has been set down for early 2023.

Defence lawyer Carl Minette said there would potentially be an application to have a separate trial for the sisters.

Both the Buttriss women remain in the community after being granted bail during their first appearance at Picton Court on February 8.

Court documents show Lara is a single mother and Grace is a disability worker who lives with her elder sister. Neither sister has a criminal record, according to the documents.

Mr Bilotta has been charged with common assault and doing an act intending to pervert the course of justice. He is yet to enter pleas, and is due to face Picton Local Court on Friday.
