Mr Teece was granted conditional bail following the crash, secured by $2000 bond from his mother.

Tributes flowed for the mother online in the days following her death with many describing her as a “beautiful” woman.

“So so sorry to hear the sad news, gone way too soon may she rest in peace,” a family friend wrote on Facebook.

“My condolences are with you and your family. May she rest in heaven,” another friend said.

A GoFundMe was created following her passing to help her daughters with funeral costs.

“Jasmina was unconscious at the scene and was in a deep coma until the 6th of March where she unfortunately passed away,” the fundraiser reads.

“She has left behind two beautiful daughters who are students and they would appreciate any help they could get from the community in this difficult time to assist them with funeral costs, and emergency funding as she was a single mother.”
