A glamorous brunette, who claims she simply wanted to collect her clothes when she stormed a Bringelly home late at night, triggering a night of mayhem which featured two stabbings, a shooting and a high speed getaway, will be eligible for release from prison next month.

Kristen Moriarty, 29, had once lived peacefully at the scene of the crime with the two victims, Amanda Brent and Vincenzo Datillo, but was asked to move out.

When she returned a few weeks later, the 29-year-old attacked Ms Brent with a hammer but was ultimately injured by her own weapon.

On the night of July 16, 2018, Moriarty was joined by Scott Keighran, the best friend of her former boyfriend Harley McKenna, who died in a fire in 2016.

Keighran and Moriarty bought a two-pack of knives before donning balaclavas and storming the Mersey Rd home. Datillo was stabbed three times by Keighran – once in the back and twice in the stomach – before ferociously attacking Ms Brent in her bedroom, stabbing her throat and arm.

Keighran was later shot in the arm as he fled the scene, shortly after crashing his work ute on The Northern Rd, Luddenham.

Judge Julia Baly dismissed Moriarty’s claim the duo arrived with innocent intentions to collect some clothes, but did accept she didn’t expect such violence from her partner-in-crime Keighran.

“Scott Keighran did all of the stabbing to both victims,” she said. “This offender did none of it.”

Moriarty was sentenced to a total term of imprisonment for three years and one month, with a non-parole period of one year and six months for two counts of reckless wounding and aggravated enter dwelling. She will be eligible for release on May 14 this year.

Keighran was sentenced on Tuesday to a total jail term of seven years and three months, with a four years and three months non-parole period.
