The Rosemeadow man has also been charged with two counts of using a carriage service to procure a child under the age of 16 for sexual activity and two counts of indecent assault on a child under 16.
He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The 26-year-old has travelled to more than 30 countries as a ten pin bowling competitor, representing NSW and Australia.
