THE first 26 blocks in the final land release in one of the most prestigious subdivisions in the Macarthur area will go on sale on Monday with prices starting from $640,000 each.
The blocks are in the final land release of the award-winning Harrington Grove estate and demand to snap up the lots is expected to remain strong.
The blocks are in the Dancerwood precinct and they range in size from 702sqm to 1157sq m.
Dancerwood has a total of 121 blocks and is the final precinct of its kind in the estate.
It was named in honour of historical connections to Sir Warwick Fairfax.
“Harrington Grove began as a dream, a magnificent estate over the rolling hills and vast fields of the rural Macarthur region,’’ Harrington Estates director Terry Goldacre said.
“Today that dream is a reality and nearing completion.’’
Harrington Grove began in 2008 and is well established as a respected and premium development.
The neighbouring Harrington Park estate was established 25 years ago.
Camden State Liberal MP Chris Patterson said Harrington Grove and Harrington Park had done a tremendous job over the past two decades.
“Lady Mary Fairfax has left a legacy of not just building houses but building communities that have won industry awards around the country year in and year out,’’ he said.
“Harrington Grove offers a fantastic quality of housing for people in that market.’’
Mr Goldacre said Dancerwood was special by name and by nature.
“Nestled on the slopes of Crear Hill, Dancerwood is surrounded by Harrington Forest and has clear views across the Camden vista,’’ he said.
He said Dancerwood was the last precinct of its kind before Harrington Grove was complete, and the community was nationally recognised for its outstanding planning and design, community development and sustainability.
These included its integration with surrounding bushland, premium facilities included a country club, and large lot sizes.
